Crate Racin' USA - National Points Update (Week 15)

(Eastaboga, AL - June 10, 2025) - As the 2025 Crate Racin’ USA season reaches its midpoint, competition across all divisions is heating up with drivers jockeying for position in the national points standings. This report highlights the changes and notable performances from Week 14 to Week 15 across the Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, Street Stock, and Modified Sportsman divisions.

Weekly Late Models Division
Week 15 saw some significant shifts at the top of the leaderboard. After Week 14, Ben Davis held a slim lead with 504 points, followed closely by Shannon Lee and Sid Scarbrough. However, by Week 15, Shannon Lee took the lead with 558 points, overtaking Davis who dropped slightly to 548 points (-10). Sid Scarbrough remains a strong contender, but experienced sizable points drop (-52), falling to 506 points. The battle for top 10 positions tightened, with drivers like Brady Walton and Brody Williams making substantial gains, despite trailing the leaders by over 100 points. Rookie drivers such as Brody Williams (R) and Summer Joiner (R) continue to make impressive strides, showcasing their potential in this competitive field.

Late Model Sportsman Division
In the Late Model Sportsman class, Brett White remains dominant with a commanding 594 points in Week 15, an increase that solidified his lead from Week 14. Devin Whatley moved up to second place, despite losing 66 points, and rookie Brandon Lunsford made a strong push into third place. The top ten shows fierce competition with several drivers closely grouped, indicating an exciting second half of the season ahead.

Street Stock Division
Calvin Martin is the clear leader in the Street Stock division, increasing his lead significantly to 684 points in Week 15. Malachi Magee (R) follows with 618 points but is trailing by 66 points. Noteworthy is Corey Buhler (R) who dropped 194 points, falling to 490, showing how crucial consistency will be for championship hopes. The division is marked by intense battles for the middle positions, with several rookies like Malachi Magee and Carlos Williamson making their presence felt in the top 10.

Modified Sportsman Division
Colton Grimes continues to lead the Modified Sportsman division without change, holding steady at 406 points in Week 15. Ron Grandel trails at 366 points, 40 behind. The rookie Chad Gentry has improved slightly to 305 points and remains a contender to watch. The points gap here suggest the top drivers have established some early dominance, but with a long season ahead, opportunities remain for challengers to close the gap.
