MARA Back in Action at Lincoln Speedway this Thursday
It's been nearly a month and drivers from the Midget Auto Racing Association are chomping at the bit to get back in the saddle. Not since June 6, when Mitchell Davis took the checkers, have the stars of MARA been in action.
This Thursday, July 3, will change all that when MARA returns to Lincoln Speedway for a full program of racing. Jace Sparks leads Mark McMahill and Tyler Roth on the podium thus far in the MARA points chase.
In six races the series has produced six different winners in eight events. Alex Midkiff and Brian Peterson are the only drivers who have won twice.
SCHEDULE CHANGE
Officials from MARA announced today that their portion of the July 12 race at Coles County Speedway has been postponed to a later date.
MARA has added a race on July 19 at Sycamore Speedway where they will meet their northern cousins, the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association in a co-sanctioned event.
