USAC/CRA Headlines Exciting Holiday Weekend
Santa Maria Speedway will host one of the most highly anticipated races on Saturday, July 5th. Guys and Gals will come to battle on the Coast as the West Coast's premier traditional non-wing Sprint Car drivers will compete with USAC/CRA. IMCA RaceSaver 305 Winged Sprint Cars, California Lightning Sprints and Dwarf Cars will also be apart of the exciting night of action.
Avanti Windows and Doors' USAC/CRA Sprint Cars made their first stop at the Coastal third-mile in May. Traveling down the Cuesta Grade, local Kaleb Montgomery held off the field for his first career USAC/CRA feature event win. He will be back in action this weekend and will look to defend his hometown turf against series' points leader Ricky Lewis. The duo have had plentiful of side-by-side action when on the track competing against each other.
IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprint Cars are fresh off of their track series' debut. George Tristao Jr. inherited the leader in a late race incident and secured his first series' victory of the season. Series' points leader Davey Pombo looks to rebound and find Victory lane this weekend after leading twenty laps this past weekend.
California Lightning Sprints will make their season debut at Santa Maria Speedway. Eric Greco currently leads the points standings ahead of Bobby Michnowicz and Jeff Dyer. Greco is coming off a win in the series latest race and looks to extend his points lead.
Dwarf Car racing at Santa Maria Speedway has plentiful of highlights of hometown favorite Brandon Wiley finding Victory Lane. He currently sits atop of the track points and has found Victory Lane twice in 2025 at Santa Maria Speedway.
Fan gates will open this Saturday at 4:00 PM with racing at 6:00 PM. Adult tickets are $25, Senior/Military $23, Ages 11-17 $10 and Kids 10 and under free. Parking is free. Concession, merchandise and beer booths will be open to serve you. For pre-sale tickets, visit www.SantaMariaSpeedway.net
