Brown, Roling Win Friday Night Features at Xtreme Speedway

(Danville, AL – July 4, 2025) – The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series made a triumphant return to northern Alabama on Friday night, kicking off a holiday double-header at Xtreme Speedway in Danville. For the first time since 2022, the stars of the series roared into the high-banked oval, and fans were treated to a pair of thrilling $1,500-to-win non-points feature races that served as qualifiers for Saturday’s marquee event.

Georgia’s Joseph Brown and Florida’s Bubba Roling emerged victorious in their respective 20-lap features, earning front-row starting positions for Saturday’s 50-lap, $5,000-to-win main event, which also awards full Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series points.

Feature 1: Brown Cruises from Outside Front Row
Starting second, Joseph Brown wasted no time taking command in the opening feature. The No. 92 driver led all 20 laps to collect the win over pole-sitter Koulten Herbert (No. 611), who held on for second. Logan Bradford, Matt Henderson, and Caleb Gay rounded out the top five in a stacked field. Bryson Mitchell earned Hard Charger honors by advancing four positions from 13th to finish ninth.

Feature 2: Roling Dominates Under the Lights
In the second feature, Bubba Roling made his pole position count, leading wire-to-wire for a convincing victory in the No. 515 machine. Jimmy Thomas (No. 22T) chased Roling but never found the opening he needed, finishing second. Jeremy Steele, Austin Yarbrough, and Joey Armistead III completed the top five.
The field saw multiple drivers gaining two positions each in a tightly contested race.

Qualifying Recap – Bama Sheds and Pole Barns Time Trials
Friday’s competition began with group qualifying sessions presented by Bama Sheds and Pole Barns. In Group 1, Koulten Herbert set fast time with a lap of 14.143 seconds. Feature 2 fast time honors went to Bubba Roling, who blistered the track with a lap of 14.071 seconds—earning pole positions for their respective feature races.

Saturday Showdown: $5,000-to-Win Main Event, Fireworks & More
Saturday night will feature the weekend’s crown jewel: a 50-lap, $5,000-to-win Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series main event, with championship points on the line. Brown and Roling will lead the field to green as the chase for the checkers intensifies.

Also on tap for Saturday night are twin features for the CRUSA 602 Late Model Sportsman, as well as racing in the Modifieds, Mini Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Buzz divisions. To cap off the evening, fans will be treated to a spectacular Independence Day fireworks show lighting up the Danville sky.

Fans with rainout armbands from last weekend’s postponed event can upgrade for just $5—but don’t forget to bring the original band to the gate.
