Selvage Holds off Danley to score Big Payday at Moberly

The Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Cars invaded Moberly Motorsports Park in Moberly, Missouri for the first time Friday.
Dustin Selvage of Indianola, IA was the Deatherage Opticians Quick Time in Hotlaps. A double heat format was put in place for the night. Heat 1-1 was won by Dustin Selvage, Heat 2-1 was won by Timothy Smith of Rocheport, MO, Heat 2-1 was won by Points Leader Chase Brown of Yutan, NE, Heat 2-2 was won by Cole Vanderheiden of Papillion, NE.
Selvage would win the Dash and start on the pole of the 15 lap feature event. John Klabunde of Ft. Calhoun, NE would start 6th and run the Lucky 6 Challenge paying $3,800 courtesy of Electrical Systems Inc.
Dustin Selvage would start on the pole and jump out to a dominating 2.5 second lead of Joey Danley. Chase Brown would settle into 3rd with Cole Vanderheiden and John Klabunde in pursuit. As laps wound down, Selvage hit heavy lap traffic and Danley began to close. On the last lap, Danley tried a last corner slide job that was cut off by Selvage who hung on for the win. Danley finished 2nd, Brown 3rd, Vanderheiden 4th, and Timothy Smith 5th.
