Joshua Tyre To Direct ASCS Sooner Region In 2023
Bryan Hulbert – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 14, 2023) Looking forward to the 2023 season with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, the Oklahoma based tour will be headed by Joshua Tyre.
Spending the 2022 season helping his brother Michael with the series, Joshua has always been part of the racing scene, either behind the scenes or competing on track.
“The Sooner Region works for me where I can get the best of both worlds as a director and be able to still race OCRS when I can. I feel like that will reinforce my understanding of what to watch for. Of course, being a racer first helps, but I believe this will help keep me more in tune to both sides of the call, so I’m looking forward to this year,” stated Tyre.
The 2023 American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products season begins Friday, April 7 at Creek County Speedway, and Saturday, April 8 at Nevada Speedway with the ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps.

The 2023 season will mark the 32nd year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
