Spanky Matthews Memorial
This Saturday join us at Kings Speedway Powered by Keller Motors to honor Spanky Matthews!
Gregg “Spanky” Matthews was one of the great announcers of his time. Known also as “The Round Mound of Sound” was born and raised in Fresno California, and attended Fresno State and spent a lot of time at San Jose Speedway as well as The Kearney Bowl and Clovis Speedway growing up. He announced at Madera, Visalia and Masa Marina as well as ESPN and of course... Kings Speedway. His announcing wasn’t limited to racing cars as he also commentated the Fresno Falcons ice hockey team and Western Union high school basketball.
The night will be actioned packed as we welcome USAC/CRA 410 Sprint Cars, Western Racesaver 305’s and West Coast Sport Compacts. If you can't make it out to the track this weekend, you can catch all the action on FloRacing.

Racing Starts: 6pm
