2023 COMBINED GLSS SCHEDULE

Merrill, MI – Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro & ARP is pleased to post our 2023 Combined Schedule. There are 37 confirmed dates at 12 different tracks this coming season in Ohio and Michigan. We are still working with 4 other tracks and hoping for 4 more dates, but we didn’t want to hold up our schedule with over 90% of the schedule completed.

The combined schedule is a complete list of all the GLSS shows that have been scheduled. The North Division, the NRA and The Tour points races will be identified and shared once the remaining few races are booked. Our first race of the season will be at Waynesfield Raceway Park on April 8th for our Ohio opener. Then we move North for our Michigan opening weekend at I-96 Speedway and Crystal Motor Speedway on April 21 and 22.

We will then travel to Tennessee for a double header weekend of the North vs the South as Great Lakes Super Sprints takes on the USCS Sprint series at I-75 Speedway.

May the Force be with you as we kick off May with our first race of the season at Limaland Motorsports Park on May the 4th.

Heading back North, we’re back at I-96 Speedway on May 12th. The next weekend will be our first head to head race with a race at Limaland and a race at Hartford Speedway on the same night, May 19th.
For Memorial weekend we kick off Friday, May 26th at Limaland, then we have a North race at Crystal on May 27th and we wrap up the weekend at Waynesfield Raceway Park on Sunday, May 28th.

Currently June 2nd and 3rd are open, but we travel back to Limaland for a race on June 9th. Back in Michigan the next weekend we run Hartford Speedway on Friday, June 16th and then head Southeast to Butler Motor Speedway for a Saturday race on June 17th. On June 23rd we’re back at Limaland for a Friday night race.

Kicking off the July 4th weekend we have head to head races at Limaland and I-96 Speedway on Friday, June 30th. We are still working on Saturday and Sunday races, but we will end up at Waynesfield Raceway Park for an exciting night of racing on July 3rd racing with the non wings for the Hewitt Classic.

Traveling back to Michigan, we kick off the next weekend at Hartford Speedway on Friday, July 7th and then travel Saturday to our most Northern track at Merritt Speedway on the 8th. On the 14th we travel to Limaland Motorsports Park for a solo Friday night race.

The next weekend on July 21st we kick off an Ohio double header at Limaland on Friday, then travel to Atomic Speedway on Saturday, July 22nd for our first appearance since 2017.

We close out July at I-96 Speedway on the 28th for a night of speed, featuring GLSS, Late Models and the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints. Then we pack up and head south for our only visit of the season at Fremont Speedway on the 29th.

August starts out with a bang with head to head races on Friday, August 4th at Tri-City Motor Speedway and Limaland. Then Saturday we head to Eldora Speedway for our only visit of the season on the 5th.

August 11th will be the raindate for the August 4th race at Limaland for the King of the Quartermile and the NRA Championship. There will also be a North race at Hartford Speedway on August 11th, then travel to the thumb for our only race of the season at Silver Bullet Speedway on the 12th.

On August 18th, we race our final race of the season at I-96 Speedway on Friday night and then travel South to Butler Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 19th to wrap up a double header weekend.

Labor Day weekend finds us in Michigan at Crystal Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 2nd where we will crown our North Region Champion. The next weekend on Saturday, September 9th we will wrap up the GLSS Tour Championship at Hartford Speedway.

We will wrap up our racing for the year where we started at Waynesfield Raceway Park on Saturday, October 7th.
