VICTORY FOR KELLER CLOSES THE POINTS GAP
Cautions plagued the IMCA Modified feature. Zach Frederick led early until Jeremy Keller grabbed the lead on an early lap four caution. Picking up where he left off at the North Dakota Governor’s Cup, Keller pulled away on each restart. The restarts allowed points leader, Shawn Strand, to climb through the field. Using the highline, Strand passed Frederick and then Spencer Wilson for second. The final nine laps went caution free and as the checkered flag neared, Strand started to reel in Keller. Unfortunately for Shawn Strand, he ran out of time as Jeremy Keller crossed the finish line first. Marlyn Seidler made a late race run to the front to finish third while Quentin Kinzley held off Marcus Tomlinson for fourth.
