Zearfoss scores top-ten in National Open preliminary; Lincoln Speedway ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 7, 2024) - There’s no place like home, and for the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss, “home” happens to host one of the most sought-after prizes on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign trail - the Williams Grove Speedway National Open. And although the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native and World of Outlaws full-timer was unable to conquer the $75,000-to-win blockbuster, there were plenty of shining moments, one of which a top-ten in the weekend opener that was contested late Saturday afternoon, October 5.

Zearfoss, ace of this own Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, EnTrust IT Solutions, Berkebile Oil Company, No. 3Z sprint car, finished ninth in weekend preliminary, commencing main event action from the exact same position. The former Port Royal Speedway track champion now owns 15 World of Outlaws top-tens on the season and will have the opportunity to earn one more in Posse Country Saturday night at Lincoln Speedway.
Unfortunately, Zearfoss was unable to match his top-ten outcome in Saturday’s $75,000-to-win National Open finale; he finished 16th.

“Feels great to be home. There’s always a little added pressure racing so close to home with all of your friends, family, and partners at the track, but having the opportunity to work out of your own shop and sleep in your own bed is a major bonus,” Zearfoss expressed. “We get another shot at a PA win this weekend so we’ll do what we can to make it happen.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2024 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with Lincoln Speedway’s Keystone Showdown on Saturday, October 12.
