2023 Ikey Dorr Rules and Registration

Ikey Dorr Street Stock Rules
Suspension:
• Stock lower A Frames only for make and model
• Stock length upper A frames +/- 1”
• Stock sway bar only in stock location with maximum 1 ½ “ diameter
• Shocks and struts must be 50/50 nonadjustable steel
• Ball joints must be bolted in and nonadjustable
• 3 link allowed
• Leaf Springs must be steel and have a minimum of 4 leafs
• Front and rear adjustable cup and/or jacking bolts are allowed
• All cars must be 5” including body from the ground with driver inside
• Cars may be tied together above the floorboards
• No “Xing” of frame
• Stock appearing Firewall and floorboards may have right side cut out for exhaust
• Must have Stock main frame
• No Travel eliminating devices
Engine:
• Small Blocks Only
• Maximum compression 10:2:1
• Intake 2101/2116/602 crate intake allowed
• Carburetor stock Holly 4412 must pass tech tools
• Must use mister gasket #1929 / 1937 / 1933
• No MSD Boxes
• Stock rockers Only
• 12” crank height from ground to the center bolt with driver in the car
• #1 Plug must be in line no further back than top of ball joint
• Steal Heads only
• 194 Intake Valves / 1.6 exhaust valve maximum
• No angle plug heads allowed
Transmission:
• Stock 3 or 4 speed automatics or 3 speed manuals allowed. All Gears MUST be working.
• Clutch Pressure Plate, Flywheel, and bolts minimum of 33lbs.
Track Width:
• 72 ½ outside bead to bead
Wheels / Tires
• 7” or 8” steel wheel only
• 7” 790 Hoosier and 7” 705 American Racer Tires allowed
• Tire Durometer rule (no softer than 50 after the race)
Weight:
• Minimum of 3000lbs with driver start of race. Cars are allowed to refuel after the race to meet weight requirement
• Maximum rear weight is 49%
• 55% left side weight on 7” rims w/ American Racer Tires
• 54.5% left side weight on 7” rims w/ Hoosier Tires
• 54% left side weight on 8” rims w/ American Racer Tires
• 53.5% left side weight on 8” rims w/ Hoosier Tires
Bodies
• Stock appearing for make and model
• No dirt noses or open tails
• No more than a 5” rear spoiler
TECH HAS FINAL SAY ON ALL RULES DAY OF THE RACE
NO BS WILL BE TOLERATED!

Registration prior to Aug 19, 2023 is $50, after Aug 19, 2023 registration will go up to $100. Half of the registration money will go to Maine Veterans Home in Bangor and Half will go back into the division payout.
