Inside Line Promotions – CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (June 2, 2022) – Greg Wilson returns to Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions competition this weekend with a pair of races in his home state of Ohio.

The Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics and DNC Hydraulics supported Seeling Motorsports driver plans on racing this Friday at Attica Raceway Park in Attica and Saturday at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe during the George Fisher Memorial Freedom 40.

“I feel like if things fall right at Attica we can win a race there,” Wilson said. “We’ve been competitive lately. We struggled the last few years. Finally, I feel if we can get over the hump we can win some races there. It’s our backyard and it’s home so we always look forward to racing there.”

Wilson has earned a podium and three top-10 results this season at Attica Raceway Park. He made his season debut at Atomic Speedway last Saturday during a World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event.

“I’m really feeling like if things play out right we should have a shot to win both of them this weekend,” he said. “I’d be tickled to death if we could leave the weekend with some podium finishes. Otherwise I’d grade my weekend based on if we could progress from last week with the changes we’ve made.”

Wilson timed in 15th quickest in his group before advancing from eighth to sixth place in a heat race and from fourth to second place in the Last Chance Showdown to transfer into the back of the main event. He gained a trio of positions in the feature to place 19th.

“I wasn’t comfortable early in the night,” he said. “We just haven’t raced on a lot of places like Atomic. I probably didn’t make great laps in qualifying. We made a lot of changes and even in the feature it wasn’t doing what I wanted it to do when we’ve been good.

“We took a new car with a completely new engine package. It was something we hadn’t run all year. I felt we weren’t horrible because we made the race and were semi-competitive. I was a little worried about the depth of our team. Yes, we have this car and this engine we’re good with. But what if something happens to the car or when we have to send the engine back. We don’t have that quite figured out yet. We have to work on some motor stuff a bit and switch some stuff around with a different car. I think last Saturday helped that. We came home and this week we’ve talked about a lot and worked on a lot. We’re going to try something a little different in our car engine-wise this weekend.”
