RICH BICKLE LAST RACE IN WISCONSIN IS FALLOWEEN 150

Wisconsin Dells WI 10/17/21-Rich Bickle’s storied career as an American professional stock car driver is coming to closure after 45 years. Bickle who turned 60 years old this past May started his final campaign as a driver by winning the ARCA Midwest Tour Season opener at Madison International Speedway the Joe Shear Classic and added feature wins this summer at Slinger and Grundy County Speedway as well as taking home top honors at Dells Raceway Park on Labor Day Weekend by capturing the ARCA Midwest Tour Jim Sauter Classic 200. Bickle will race his last race in Wisconsin on Saturday October 23rd at Dells Raceway Park in the Alive for 5 Series Falloween 150. Bickle as described by the Milwaukee State Journal in 2012 as the “Stud of the Short Tracks” has won over 500 feature races in his career including the Slinger Nations four times (1992, 1996, 2003, 2013) The Snowball Derby at the Five Flags Speedway, in Pensacola, Florida, five times (1990, 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999) and two time winner of Rockford Speedway’s National Short Track Championship (1990, 2010). Bickle started his NASCAR Career in 1989 and competed in the Winston Cup Series, Busch Series & the Craftsman Truck Series where he won three times in 1997 driving for NASCAR Champion Darrell Waltrip and finished second to Jack Sprague in the season point standings. Bickle’s best career finish in Winston Cup was a fourth place finish at Martinsville Speedway in 1998 driving for Cale Yarborough Motorsports. Bickle was a true journeyman in the NASCAR ranks who rarely caught a break with the big money teams in his 218 career NASCAR starts and made a living for himself for sixteen years in NASCAR filling seats when available. Bickle returned home to Wisconsin after the 2006 season where he became a successful business owner and kept racing on the short tracks where he began as a teenager and was inducted into the Southern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame in 2015. Now at age 60 he will start his final Super Late Model event in Wisconsin at Dells Raceway Park where he once clicked off 14 feature wins in a row.

Please join us Saturday Afternoon October 23rd as we honor Rich Bickle in his final race in Wisconsin with fan gates opening at 11am qualifying 12:30pm and Racing at 2pm. It’s the FALLOWEEN 150 where the best in the Midwest Race One More Time to decide the Champions for 2021 in the Alive for 5 Series, 602 Late Models & Midwest Truck Series.

Dells Raceway Park is located two miles west of I-90/94 at Exit 85 just off of Highway 12.
