May 2017 Release Notes



  • Updated all MRP sites to use the new Forgot Password process.
  • Added an email confirmation to the Reset Password process used by MRP sites.
  • On the Confirm Entry window, added a visual indicator for drivers with an address on file.
  • Added a confirmation alert when a driver is entered in a network/class for the first time.


  • Added All the Dirt subscription options to WISSOTA registrations.
  • Added driver hometown and car number to the point standings page.
  • Added a feature to Sanction Management that allows tracks to submit National Points only.
  • Disabled the use of Internet Explorer in Race Management and Sanction Management to prevent potential compatibility issues.
  • Changed Race Management to automatically add drivers and teams to the Contact List when an entry is confirmed.
  • Changed the Lineups page to display the method used in calculating the lineup.


  • Added driver hometown to the Lineup report.
  • Added an advanced setting to the MRP Live client that specifies whether lineups are overwritten when downloaded.
  • Added an option to Race Management that specifies if a driver can be used once or multiple times in a race type. For example, entering the same driver in heat 1, heat 2 and heat 3 versus heat 1 only.
  • Added validation rules for the MRP Live Client that will alert the user of an unusual configuration.
  • Added the time format to the Time heading on the Race Management Results page.


  • Created the first version of Sanction Suspension Management.
  • Added driver age, MRP Card number and requested car numbers to the confirm entry printout.
  • Added new sorting options for the Sanction Management Memberships page.


  • Modified the design of the lineup builder components to improve quality and reliability.
  • Removed the Photographer and Limited admin roles from MRP Admin.
  • Whitelisted the archive.org Way Back Machine to crawl MRP sites.


  • Improved exception logging in the MRP Live Client and Server.


  • Updated the links on the points admin page to the new Race Management.
  • Added #TeamMRP branding to Facebook posts of lineups and results.


  • Modified the new reports area to include top-bar navigation that mimics the old interface.
  • Restricted the ability of the public to add new driver profiles on myracepass.com. Tracks are still able to create profiles.
  • Improved help documentation for Orbits and Race manager integration.

#Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused errors to be logged when tweeting lineups without first configuring a Twitter account.
  • Fixed a bug on the MRP login that caused a validation alert if the email address included spaces.
  • Fixed a bug on the Race Management Results page that unintentionally caused a driver to be set as DNF or DNS if the driver in the row above was marked DNF or DNS.


  • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented admin users from navigating to the second page of events.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the navigation menu to overflow onto other content when using Sanction Management with a small screen size.


  • Fixed a bug that caused Sanction Management Memberships to exclude the driver suffix.
  • Fixed a bug that incorrectly required the Total Time field when importing certain result types.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause a miscalculation of showup points when using a global points scheme.
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused an incorrect ordering of imported qualifying results.


  • Fixed a bug that caused driver age to not be displayed when confirming entries by scanning an MRP card.
  • Fixed a bug that caused lap counts to not save when importing lineups via MRP Live.
  • Fixed multiple issues affecting the Race Management layout on tablet devices.


  • Fixed an issue on the Entries page that caused the default transponder and car number settings to not persist.
  • Fixed an issue on the Entries page that caused the Invalid Card alert to not be displayed when an invalid card number was entered.
