Henderson and BDS race to another ASCS National top ten finish in Missouri

Dupo, IL (April 18, 2017) This past Saturday night, the ASCS National Sprint Cars headed to the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, Missouri to go head to head against the local ASCS Warrior Region. Twenty-five ASCS 360 sprint cars signed in to compete at the Saturday early evening event. Despite tough, dusty track conditions Justin Henderson and his BDS Motorsports team would pick up their fourth top ten finish of the season and move forward to fourth in the series point standings.
Justin started the evening with a good pill draw that put him on the outside of row one for the third and final heat race. As the green flag waved, Justin and pole sitter, Miles Paulus, had a drag race down the front stretch. As the two entered turn one, Justin would get the advantage and jump out to a huge lead. As the checkered flag flew Henderson would pick up the win over Sam Hafertepe, Jr. His second to first run put the BDS #1 in the A-main re-draw where Justin came away with a seventh-place starting position for the 25-lap A-main event. As the green flag waved, dust filled the track and racers scattered to avoid each other. Justin would race the Al Parker powered Eagle Chassis in seventh place until giving up the position late in the event to Aaron Reutzel. Finishing in eighth wasn’t the results the team strives for, but it was another top ten and a good overall points race.
The racing team will now have a few weeks off until they return to action on Thursday, May 11th at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. While the race team enjoys time off, the marketing side of BDS Motorsports will be in full force having multiple appearances over the next couple weeks. Before Saturday’s racing at Sedalia, Justin, team BDS driver Andee Beierle, and the rest of the Over the Top Promotions team were out meeting and greeting the fans as they entered the main grandstands. This will be a regular occurrence at most ASCS National races this summer and gives fans everywhere a chance to meet the BDS Motorsports drivers, get autographs, and also pick up some great free samples from some of the BDS sponsors. This past weekend was also the kickoff for the BDS Motorsports Kids Club which offers young race fans a chance to pick up free stuff from the team’s sponsors, as well as a free sprint car coloring book featuring Justin and Andee.
