Driver Information

I began racing in 2009 in a Dodge Neon at Highland Speedway. My Dad and I spent several years racing Neons, Eclipses, and even a Pontiac (Dad's first racing years were in the early 2000s), before making the jump to Street Stocks in 2012 and 2013. We ran a Street Stock and a Pro-4 in 2014, along with a Margay asphalt racing kart, before funding ran dry.

We sold and traded it all in 2015, resulting in ownership of our first open wheel dirt modified. Unfortunately due to funding and me moving to Indiana for work, this modified never saw the track with me behind the wheel.

We got the racing bug again in late 2017, buying a second dirt modified. Dad drove this one in 2018 as I still lived away from home and on a very, very thin life budget. This wasn't the fastest or newest car, but helped get my dad back on track a time or two over a few year period. This car still sits in a shed and has helped us build our current car.

In June 2023, I bought a 2013 Pierce dirt modified with the goal of finally racing a modified myself (after this being the third we've owned). My family and I have different life circumstances than in the past, and we had to build this one out of a shed in farm country. The goal for 2023 was to shake down the car and get seat time.

I finally drove an open wheel modified on track at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, IL in September 2023, about nine years since the last time I was on track and the first time in something lighter and more powerful than a street stock. Unfortunately, the engine blew during Night 1 of B-Modified Bash back at Tri-City, ending our season a couple nights short.

Our new engine build is in process and we will take on 2024 with a better powerplant and suspension package!
