When Scott Melton isn’t busy with his day job, serving as president and owner of the Melton-McFadden Insurance Agency in Michigan, you can find him behind the wheel of Kimmel Racing’s No. 69 car in the ARCA Menards Series. Melton may have had little prior experience before embarking upon a second career as a race car driver while in his 50s, but he proved to be a quick learner under the tutelage of championship-winning crew chief Bill Kimmel Jr. and his Indiana-based team.
