Driver Information

Charles was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. He grew up outside of the racing community, and wasn't introduced to racing until high school. After watching his first race, he was hooked. He helped a few buddies on the weekends his first year, then started to help with weekly maintenance the next couple years after that. After 4 years of helping his friends, it was time for his own car. In 2012, he bought his first ride, a 600cc Vision chassis micro sprint. The first year was a learning curve, trying to get as much seat time as possible, and learning how to drive the car. The second year, Charles switched to a 2008 Eagle chassis. Having to learn how the car handled was a challenge, being so different from the Vision. His second year was a bumpy road, filled with blowing up his motor, and being involved in multiple wrecks. After a long winter of rebuilding and regrouping, he raced for another couple years, gaining precious seat time, and learning how to race the car, always trying to expand his knowledge of the sport. With his improvement throughout his career, he couldn't turn down the opportunity to step into a new car for the 2016 season. He's still looking for his first win, but with the new 2016 Stallard, a proven winner, brand new Engler mechanical injection, and a fresh 600cc Suzuki power plant, he's hoping to break through the barrier between weekend racers and driven winners.
