I grew up watching dirt track racing at Sunset Speedway with my cousins and late grandfather. Our high school had the opportunity to build a “hornet" in 2005 and I've been hooked since. I've had the opportunity to pit crew for some great drivers and friends. We've built over 20 cars and saw a ton of success when the Sport Compacts were first introduced. Since then, we've ran a few sport mods, a couple stock cars, and a Midwest classic stock car. Met the wife at our local racetrack and married into a sweet racing family. Growing up and having kids have changed my commitments but I've always been lucky enough to have a compact behind the shop. Dirt track racing is an addiction that has no cure. Let's go racin boys!
