Early end to opening weekend of 2024
Kicking off his 2024 season on the first weekend of January, Brad Dyer invaded Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon for night one of the 33rd-running of the Ice Bowl.
With a strong field of 36 Crate Racin' USA Late Models on the premises, Dyer qualified fifth-quickest in his group and was battling for a transfer spot in his heat race when he made contact with another competitor and slammed into the wall. With the damaged sustained burying him in a B-Main, Dyer's weekend came to an early end.
