Back to Quarter Midgets

Derrik made the trip to Primm, NV to help out the Irwin family with their busy weekend. Jason was racing in two classes at the Winter Nationals for quarter midgets and Justin was racing a legend car at the Road Course Nationals in Las Vegas. Derrik along with Frank Fanelli, Kelly Irwin, Dean Moslow, Manny and Annette Ortega helped Jason out for the weekend. After struggling in the heat races Jason made a charge from the D-main to 5th in the A-main in Sr. Honda, and came from the G-main to win the A-main in Light 160. Michael Fanelli also had a 3rd place finish in Heavy Mod, 4th place finish in Heavy Honda, and a 7th place run in Heavy 160. It was a great weekend for the Roadrunner Quarter midget club with 7 cars making the A-mains for the 2008 Silverstate Winter Nationals.
