TROPHY HUNTER LICHTFELD SCORES ANOTHER IN UMA SUPER LATES

Wisconsin Dells WI-Mike Lichtfeld dominates the return of the UMA Weekly Super Late Models to Dells Raceway Park. Mike Lichtfeld and Dennis Prunty brought the power packed 16 car field to the green for the Performance Parts Supply 50 lap main event. Lichtfeld would immediately seize the lead and work to grow it as the field raced hard behind him. Braden Berge flexed his muscle early climbing quickly from row 3 into a battle with Prunty for second. Max Kahler the night’s fast qualifier would begin to climb through the field as he went through seesaw battles one by one on his way to the front. Kahler would eventually get to Berge to take the second spot and set his sights on Lichtfeld. However, A culmination of hard fought battles and waining laps would seal the wire to wire victory for Mike Lichtfeld as he cruised to the checkered flag. Kahler would finish second followed by Braden Berge, Brady Bill and Dennis Prunty. Preliminary events were cancelled due to an imminent threat of rain in the area. Max Kahler was the fastest of the 16 car UMA Super Late Model Field with a lap of 13.387. The Weekly Super Late Models will return May 20th at R&R Doors night at the races for The Garage Specialist 50 lap main event.
