Braxton Foster Wins in RBO 250 Intermediate Debut
The 2022 Red Bluff Outlaws Championship Season kicked off on Saturday Night inside the Pauline Davis Pavilion in Red Bluff, CA. This marks the 41st year of competition for the Red Bluff Outlaws.
In total 24 drivers signed in to compete in the season opening Points Race for the 250 Intermediate Class.
The day began with Braxton Foster of Redding, CA setting Fast Time. Foster turned a lap time of 9.025 seconds to earn the Fast Time Honors in Qualifying behind the wheel of his Factory QRC #51 entry.
Heat Race #1 saw Chico, CA driver Mason Nelson earn the Heat Race Win in his Light It Up Solar & Electric #11n entry.
Heat Race #2 saw Rio Linda, CA's Logan Reeves pilot his Victory Landscaping, STS Farming #25 entry to the Heat Race Win.
Heat Race #3 was claimed by Hanford, CA driver Conner Bell in his Bell Racing, WestScapes #9c entry.
The B-Feature was won by Chico, Ca driver Jake Nuxoll.
Trophy Dash competition returned to the Red Bluff Outlaws, but this time with a twist. Now the top six transfers to the Main Event will duke it out in a six lap dash to determine the front three rows of the night's 25 Lap Feature Event. The Trophy Dash was claimed by the Bell Racing, WestScapes #88k entry of Kinser Bell of Hanford, CA.
The A-Main Event saw Braxton Foster pick up his 9th career Red Bluff Outlaws Victory, and first in the 250 Intermediate Class in his Factory QRC #51 entry. Finishing 2nd in the Main Event was Jaxon Hall from Redding, CA in his Hall's Heating & Air, SRT Karts #75 entry. Finishing 3rd was Paradise, CA driver Trenton Vannucci in his Heatwave Sunglasses, SRT Karts #27p entry.
This weekend we will be back with a Double-Header race weekend. Saturday, October 29th Points Race #2 will be on the docket. Then we return on Sunday, October 30th for the Annual Tyler Wolf Memorial (Points Race #3).
