Garin McNary Nets First Career Open Int. Win with Red Bluff Outlaws
Points Race #3 for the Red Bluff Outlaws took place on Sunday, October 30th as the second part of a double header weekend of racing. This was a special one as it marked the 11th Annual Tyler Wolf Memorial at the Red Bluff Outlaws.
In total 13 drivers signed in to compete in the Tyler Wolf Memorial for the Open Intermediate Class.
The day began with Orland, CA driver Chevy Schroer setting Fast Time. Schroer turned a lap time of 8.814 seconds to earn the Fast Time Honors in Qualifying in his Jessee Heating & Air, Larry's Pest & Weed Control #29 entry. It was his first Fast Time of the season.
Heat Race #1 saw Merced, CA driver Aiden Larimer earn his first Heat Race Win of the season in his Cornaggia Farms, SRT Karts #5 machine.
Heat Race #2 saw Saturday Night Main Event Winner Rowdy Gramps from Chico, CA pilot his SRT Karts, Whitchurch & Son Trucking #14 entry to victory. The Heat Race win was his second of the season with the Red Bluff Outlaws.
The Trophy Dash was claimed by the Mockridge Engineering, Harbor Plumbing #121 of Maddie Mockridge of Grants Pass, OR. The Dash win was her first of the season and secured her the Pole Position for the night's 25 Lap Main Event.
The A-Main Event was won by Corning, CA driver Garin McNary in his B&B Machine Quilting, Hammerdown Motorsports #22 entry. The Win marked his 3rd straight Top Five to begin the winter season at RBO. 2nd Place was claimed by Grants Pass, OR driver Jessica Mockridge in her Mockridge Engineering, Harbor Plumbing #15 entry. Rounding out the podium was Gardnerville, NV driver Evan Gularte in his Jesse Colwell Racing #17m entry.
We now take a break in the action for the month of November. We will be back with Points Race #4 & Points Race #5 (Gary Jacob Memorial) on December 3rd & 4th.
