EMi fever is spreading

Knoxville was nothing shy of exciting. BDS Motorsports and Justin Henderson would start sixth in heat race number two. As the eight laps clicked away, Justin passed car by car and was up to second on the white flag lap. As the cars came out of turn four, Justin was able to use his EAGLE car to pass the leader and pick up his second 410 heat race win in as many race nights. Justin would then line up fourth in the A-main event. Marching to the front, he was never challenged and the team cruised on to pick up 410 win number one of the season.

A good sized crowd was on hand at Eastside Speedway in Waynesboro, VA. to see Tom Humphies gas his SCHNEE to the lead. The Virginia Sprint Series (VSS) winged sprint cars successfully beat the rain and ran a typical fast and furious main event with Tom coming out on top. Roger Campbell, a fellow SCHNEE driver, also earned a win at Butler Motor Speedway.

Starting seven rows back in the Main Event, Hometown Tommy Humphreys of Waynesboro won drove a masterful race to the checkered flag. Jerald Harris of Dayton also started deep in the pack and chased Humphreys all the way to the flag for runner-up.

The event was the first race of 2015 for the Sprint Cars at Eastside as rain took out the first event scheduled. The VSS is on the Eastside Schedule for two more shows this season.

For the fourth time in 2015, and second time with the ASCS Red River Region, Seth Bergman parked the Oil Field Equipment and Manufacturing No. 23 EAGLE in Victory Lane. This being the first of two for the weekend. The second came at 81 Speedway in Wichita, KS.

Thirst can only describe Mark Dobmeier's run at River Cities on Friday. On lap 15, Dobmeier threw a slide job in turn one to take the lead then amassed a full straightaway lead in the Senske & Son #13. Standing in victory lane the EAGLE driver commented - "It's absolutely exhausting," he remarked about racing on the rough track. "The car is bouncing all over the place and you only have control about half the time. By the end of it you need a beer." Drink up fella, you earned it!

Opening night is in the books at Merritt Speedway in Lake City, MI. From a packed pit area with more than 130 cars, Justin Ward stood with the checkers at nights end next to his HENCHCRAFT car.
