Friday- Had a good first night here in Ocala! Ran 2nd in the dash, won the heat race, and finished 3rd in the feature! This is a very interesting racetrack, and layout to say the least! I didn't expect it to blow off and get so slick that quick in the feature, I should have a few more minor changes and we would have been there! We look foward to tomorrow night, I can't thank all my sponsors and fans enough for the help and support! Also shout out to my crew who works so hard to keep this car up front! I couldn't do it without each and every person involved with this team! Hopefully tomorrow I can get this Jordon Mallett Motorsports #14 improved a couple more spots!
Saturday- Had a great night going tonight, ran 2nd in the dash, 2nd in the heat. Fell to 7th off the bat and got the car settled in and made it back up to 2nd. I tried the middle on a restart and fell to 4th during another caution. Conviently during that caution I lost all my power steering. I manhandled it as hard as I could, but on a track that was taking rubber, and unable to move the wing I started my decline to the rear of the field. I was disappointly credited with a 19th place finish. Had another podium car tonight which makes it disappointing to say the least, but hey it's racing!
