Trenca Invading Brewerton and Thunder Mountain This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – CLAY, N.Y. (Aug. 30, 2016) – Joe Trenca is itching to record his first sprint car victory and a pair of Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints races this weekend will provide the next opportunity.
The Mucci Motorsports competitor will race on Friday at Brewerton Speedway in Brewerton, N.Y., and Saturday at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Center Lisle, N.Y.
Trenca earned a career-best eighth-place result at Brewerton Speedway last season.
“We have a couple of sponsors coming out and that’s our home track so I’m looking forward to it,” he said. “It’s a real small track. It gets really, really slick. We’ve had decent runs going there and not ended them the way we wanted to whether it was my fault, lapped cars or whatever. Hopefully we have an efficient night on Friday.”
Trenca finished ninth at Thunder Mountain Speedway earlier this season and he ended sixth there last year.
“That is probably one of my favorite tracks,” he said. “It’s real small. It doesn’t really get slick. You can’t wait to make passes. You have to be up on the wheel.”
Trenca is also coming off a strong performance on a week ago Tuesday at I-88 Speedway in Afton, N.Y., where he charged from 16th to a fifth-place result.
“We learned some things last week that I think are going to help us more for this weekend,” he said. “I can’t wait.”
