Kollofski, Yeigh, Hanson, Paplow and Devries Claim IMCA Nationals Victories During Jackson Motorplex Season Finale
Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Sept. 29, 2018) – Oliver Kollofski, Cory Yeigh, Matt Hanson, Dan Paplow and Jay Devries were the final feature winners of the season at Jackson Motorplex, which hosted the IMCA Nationals as its season finale on Saturday evening.
Nearly 100 drivers graced the 4/10-mile oval for a dozen heat races and five feature events.
Kollofski charged from ninth to garner the IMCA a mods victory. Jason Fisher, Ricky Stephan, Josh Foster and Chris Palsrok rounded out the top five, respectively.
Mat Hollerich and Jay Noteboom each scored a heat race win.
Yeigh maneuvered from fourth to claim the Late Model Street Stock Touring Series triumph. Sixth-starting Eric Moser was the runner up with Travis Schreurs advancing from ninth to third. Brylee Gough ended fourth and Dustin Gulbrandson rallied from 12th to a fifth-place finish.
Tim Dann and Yeigh were the heat race winners.
Hanson outlasted sixth-starting Trevor Holm during the IMCA hobby stocks feature event. Greg Sidles finished third with Doug Wickmann fourth and 13th-starting Randy Fischer fifth.
Holm, Brandon Nielsen and Sidles all earned a trip to Victory Lane during heat race action.
Paplow was victorious during the IMCA sport mods main event. Jared Boumeester maneuvered from 12th to a runner-up result. Cody Thompson placed third with Doug Smith fourth and John Klynsma fifth after starting 17th.
John Foreman, Thompson and Troy Gochanour won the heat races.
Devries swept the weekend in the IMCA sport compacts division by winning both Friday and Saturday. Kaytee Devries ended second with Jarad Gross third, Jerry Coopman fourth and Neil Forsburg fifth.
Kaytee Devries and Gross each claimed a heat race triumph.
