Pospisil scores $3,000 Malvern Bank victory at Stuart

Friday night found Tad Pospisil in action at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) competing in a field of 27 Super Late Models for the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series event. With a third-place finish in his heat race lining him up on the fifth row for the feature, Tad advanced through the field seven spots in the 20-lapper to finish second. Back in action on Sunday, Pospisil stopped at Stuart International Speedway (Stuart, Iowa) for the Malvern Bank Series sanctioned program. Following the second-fastest time in his group, Tad gained three spots in his heat race to finish third. Tracking down pacesetter Jesse Sobbing late in the feature, Pospisil stole the lead with four laps remaining and raced to his second win of the season, which came ahead of Sobbing, Justin Zeitner, Corey Zeitner, and Bill Leighton Jr. He earned a $3,000 payday for his 30th career Malvern Bank Series victory.

Tad remains in fourth in the latest Malvern Bank Series point standings.
