Diercks Attends World of Outlaws Doubleheader at Davenport

Making his first start of the season with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, Spencer Diercks visited Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday evening for the doubleheader. With the first night taking place on the quarter-mile oval and the second round on the half-mile, Spencer followed up the 11th fastest time in his group with a fifth place finish in his heat. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Diercks dropped back to a 10th place outing after officials deemed his jumped the start, dropping him back a row from his pole-position starting spot.

The following night, Diercks laid down the ninth fastest time in his group before placing seventh in his heat. Sending the Top 3 from the B-Main into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Spencer fell short of a transfer spot with a sixth place finish.
