Top 5 Finish With Southern All Stars at TST
Friday night found Riley Hickman in action at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) following the Southern All Star Series. With 36 Super Late Models on hand for the Rockin’ With the Stars, Hickman earned the 22nd-starting position for the A-Main via preliminary events. Holding his spot for all 40-laps, Riley logged a 22nd place outing.
The following night at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama), Hickman recorded the third fastest time in his qualifying group positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the $4,000-to-win finale. Breaking into the Top-5, Riley gained one spot to place 5th behind Brandon Overton, Ashton Winger, Austin Horton, and Kyle Beard.
