Groomer double dips at Lincoln Park and Circle City
Behind the wheel of the Millikan Smiles No. D48 Modified, Derek Groomer visited Lincoln Park Speedway (Putnamville, Ind.) on Friday evening for the regular night of racing.
Outrunning fast-qualifier Derek Losh in his heat race to pick up the win, Groomer locked into the pole for the main event. Turning back a charging Losh in the feature, Derek rolled to his 15th win of the season, which came ahead of Losh, Jordan Wever, Rob Brickert, and Will Bennett.
On Sunday afternoon at Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) for the Harf Night, Derek’s second-place finish in his heat placed him on the second row for the feature. Racing to his second straight victory and 16th of the season, Groomer outran Jordan Wever, Nick Richards, Todd Sherman, and Jeff Deckard in the 25-lapper.
