Derek Groomer parks Late Model in victory lane at Circle City Raceway

Returning to the seat of his No. 48 BMF Late Model, Derek Groomer checked in at Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) on Friday afternoon to compete in the weekly Crate Late Model division.

Going quicktime among 18 entries, Groomer dominated his heat race which earned him the pole position for the $1,000-to-win main event. Leading flag-to-flag in the 25-lap feature, Derek recorded his third overall victory of the season and his first Late Model triumph in 2024.
