Whittall earns top-ten in Sunday Lincoln visit; The Grove and Port Royal ahead

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (April 8, 2024) - A momentum shift, nonetheless, Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports ultimately turned their season around Sunday afternoon at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, doing so by not only earning a top-ten starting position in the $5,000-to-win main event, but finishing there, too. The Vincentown, New Jersey, native raced on to finish seventh from ninth; his first top-ten of the 2024 season.
Whittall, who finished 14th from 24th one day prior at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace,” kicked off Lincoln’s program with the 14th-fastest qualifying time of 31 entries, continuing preliminary competition with a runner-up finish in the second of four heat races.
“We needed that,” Whittall, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, Milky Way Restaurant, No. 67 sprint car, expressed. “It’s been a pretty slow start to the year, but it doesn’t take much to kick up the momentum and turn things around. We’re hoping for an undisturbed weekend ahead…good weather and two, maybe three days of racing.”

Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2024 campaign with upcoming starts at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13.
