Runner-up finish in Ben Nothdurft Memorial at Huset’s

Jesse was back on tour with the USMTS to kick off the weekend with stop at the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, IA on Friday; the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN on Saturday; the Upper Iowa Speedway in Decorah, IA on Sunday and then he hopped back behind the wheel of his #7x Late Model and made the trek to the Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota to wrap up the weekend on Monday night.

Friday, after running fifth in his heat race and third in the b-main, he was able to change forward from his 18th starting spot in the night’s feature to record a top ten finish, crossing the finish line in 10th.

Saturday, he ran third in his heat race, then won the b-main and was credited with a 21st place finish in the feature event.

Sunday, after a 6th place finish in the heat race and a fourth place run in the b, he again was able to work his way forward from 20th to cross the stripe with a 16th place finish.
And on Monday, he qualified third overall, won his heat race from the pole and then raced inside the top five all feature long, coming home with a very solid runner up finish.
