Roland places fourth in Russell Thomas Memorial at Sugar Creek Raceway
Making a lone start over the weekend, Will Roland invaded Sugar Creek Raceway (Blue Ridge, Ga.) for the $10,570-to-win Russell Thomas Memorial.
Following the seventh-quickest lap out of 26 Late Models, Roland just missed a spot in the dash and would line up from the fourth row in the 57-lap feature. Moving straight into the Top-5, Will kept his nose clean and cruised to a fourth-place finish. He trailed Payton Freeman, David Payne, and Kenny Collins while Tyler Millwood completed the Top-5.
