Baker earns 4-Crown Nationals A-main start against All Stars

SHREVE, Ohio (September 30, 2019) - Despite a tough outing against the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series to open his two-race weekend at Eldora Speedway, ultimately failing to transfer through the evening’s Last Chance Showdown, Shreve, Ohio’s Trevor Baker did one better on Saturday and earned an A-main starting position against Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions.
Doing so in convincing fashion, Baker earned his way into the $5,000-to-win All Star finale by finishing third during his respective heat race, utilizing the outside-pole position after setting the third fastest time in his respective qualifying group.
Baker went on to finish 25th during the evening's A-main.
“It was a solid weekend for our team at Eldora. We enjoy racing there so anytime we have a chance to head over, we do it. I’m glad we were able to put it all together,” Trevor Baker said, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/No. 45 sprint car. “I’m not sure of our plan for this weekend, but I do know we’ll be racing with FAST on October 12. The season is closing down pretty quick.”
If all goes according to plan, ‘T-Rev’ will make his 2019 return during the FAST Series finale/Bob Hampshire Classic at Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio, Saturday, October 12. Baker will enter the weekend with one victory to his credit this season, that occurring during Sharon Speedway’s Apple Festival Nationals on Saturday, September 21.
