Vandenbergh records a pair of fourth-place finishes at Off Road

Following a second-place finish in his heat race, Vandenbergh gained two spots in the 35-lap feature to register a fourth-place finish. He followed Johnny Scott, Justin Zeitner, and Chad Simpson across the line with Tad Pospisil coming in fifth.
For the second round of the Renegade 50 on Saturday, Kolby’s third-place finish in his heat race placed him on the fourth row for the $5,000-to-win finale. Inching forward three spots in the 50-lap affair, Vandenbergh raced to a fourth-place finish.
Kolby is currently third in the latest MLRA point standings.
On Sunday, Vandenbergh stopped at Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, Ill.) for the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series-sanctioned Wild Man Kelly Classic. Earning the 18th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main via a sixth-place finish in his heat, Kolby was credited with a 19th-place outing after retiring with six circuits remaining.
