Pierce McCarter attends Ice Bowl at TST

On Friday afternoon, Pierce McCarter returned to action at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the 31st annual Ice Bowl. Drawing 30 Super Late Models for the two-day event, Pierce topped the speed charts in time trials before picking up a heat race win. (Josh James Artwork)

Rolling off on the front row for the $6,000-to-win A-Main, McCarter was taken out by another competitor on the opening circuit that brought a disappointing end to his weekend.
