Pierce McCarter fourth in The Sweetheart at 411 Motor Speedway

With the Crate Racin' USA finale postponed to next weekend, Pierce McCarter stuck close to home on Saturday afternoon at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the annual Sweetheart.

Topping the 21-car field in qualifying, McCarter ran runner-up for much of the 35-lap main event before fading to fourth at the checkered flag.

In the Sportsman Late Model class, McCarter Brothers Racing crew guy Noah Phillips brought home an eighth-place outing.
