Bailes bags Top-10s at Boyd's and Cherokee
Ross Bailes would begin a two-day race weekend at Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.) with the Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series.
With 39 Late Models in the Boyd's Speedway pit area on Saturday, Bailes nabbed a runner-up finish in his heat race before finishing eighth in the $10,000-to-win Gobbler.
Taking part in the annual Blue Gray 100 on Sunday at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, Bailes would record a seventh-place finish in the 100-lapper.
