Castrol FNiA brings Robinson to Eldora and Brownstown
Ross Robinson returned to the driver’s seat of his Iron Source No. 7 Late Model on Tuesday evening at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) as the Castrol FloRacing Night in America kicked off the 13-race miniseries. In a stout field of 49 cars, Ross laid down the third-fastest time in his group before placing third in his heat. Starting the $22,022-to-win A-Main in 10th, Robinson was one of several cars that pulled off early to avoid rough track conditions. He was credited with a 13th-place finish. (Josh James Artwork)
The following night at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.), Robinson’s 11th-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 3 into the second round of the Castrol FNiA feature, Ross logged a 12th-place outing.
