Horton attends Alabama Gang 100 at Talladega Short Track

Austin Horton made a start with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series on Friday night at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the two-day Alabama Gang 100.

With the field split into three qualifying groups, Horton qualified 12th in his group which placed him on the sixth row for the 20-lap preliminary feature. In the first $4,000-to-win feature, Austin faded throughout the feature and wound up 18th. Being buried in a heat race, Horton was a scratch for Saturday's show.
