Frederick Punches Ticket to WISSOTA 100
Royce Jawaski and Zach Frederick started on the front row of the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Jawaski and Frederick raced side by side for the lead while Matt Dosch and Shawn Volk battled for third. As Volk cleared Dosch for third, the leaders continued to battle for the lead. They flip flopped positions as they raced door to door for the top spot. Just as the leaders started to catch lapped traffic, a caution regrouped the field. On the restart, Volk challenged Jawaski for second. As they raced hard for second, it allowed Geoff Hellman to fly by them on the high side of the track. With only a few laps to go, Hellman started to cut into Frederick’s lead but he ran out of time. Frederick scored his fourth feature victory at Dacotah Speedway and earned his spot to represent Dacotah Speedway in the Race of Champions at the WISSOTA 100. Geoff Hellman finished second while Royce Jawaski made a last lap pass to finish third ahead of Shawn Volk. Allen Frederick came home in the fifth position.
