Davenport Earns First Career Dacotah Speedway Victory
In the Dacotah Speedway Hobby Stock feature, Terry Davenport led from the pole position. Behind Davenport, A.J. Davenport quickly passed Dylan Bitz for second and reeled in the leader. A.J. Davenport dove low under Terry Davenport and took the lead on lap two. Terry Davenport then had his hands full with points leader, John Gartner Jr. They raced side by side for several laps before Gartner cleared Terry Davenport for second, bringing Dylan Sandberg with him. Bitz was all over Terry Davenport’s rear bumper but as they crossed the finish line, Terry Davenport held off Dylan Bitz for fourth. Dylan Sandberg finished third as John Gartner Jr finished a distant second place behind first time feature winner A.J. Davenport.
