DIRTcar Summer Nationals race into Davenport Speedway
Davenport, Ia. (June 13, 2022) – The DIRTcar Summer Nationals will visit the Davenport Speedway on Thursday June 16th. Formerly known as the U.M.P. Hell Tour, the grueling series schedule starts on June 14th and ends July 23rd.
This race will be the sixth Summer Nationals event held at the Davenport track. The first four races were on the half-mile, with last year’s race on the quarter-mile oval.
Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Illinois is the defending series champion and last year’s winner at Davenport.
Support classes at Davenport Speedway will be the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Models and the Eriksen Chevrolet IMCA Modifieds. There will be no races at Davenport, on Friday, June 17th.
Grandstand tickets for the DIRTcar Summer Nationals race at Davenport are $25 for adults, children (ages 5-12) are $5, and age four and under are free. Pit passes are $40 for adults and $20 for kids.
The pit gate opens at 2pm, the grandstand at 5pm, hotlaps are at 6:30pm, with racing to follow.
The Davenport Speedway is located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, on West Locust Street in Davenport, Iowa.
