Diercks notches Top-5 finish with Southern Nationals at Tri-County

After pulling off early on the fourth circuit of his heat, Diercks was an early exit from the 67-lap feature on lap six.

On Thursday evening at Tri-County Raceway (Brasstown, N.C.), Spencer secured his spot into the $7,553-to-win A-Main with the third-fastest qualifying lap. Starting on the second row, Diercks was running in fifth when a rain shower forced officials to cut the 53-lap feature short on lap 27. He followed David Payne, Brandon Overton, Payton Freeman, and Wil Herrington across the line.
