Early exit in USA 100 at Virginia Motor Speedway

With 22 Ultimate Southeast Series entries on the grounds, Knight’s fifth-place finish in his heat race pinned him on the eighth row for the $20,000-to-win USA 100. He was credited with a 15th-place finish after retiring early on lap 31 with mechanical issues.
