Erb follows Lucas Oil to Port Royal for Rumble by the River

With a fifth-to-second run in his heat race placing him on the third row for his $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Erb dropped three spots in the 25-lap affair to finish ninth.

On Saturday, Tyler edged his way into the Rumble by the River finale with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. With $50,000 on the line, Erb faded back to finish 17th after drawing the race's lone caution on lap 44.

Tyler is currently sixth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
