Sixth in season opener at Talladega Short Track
Friday night found Cory Hedgecock in action at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) to kick off his 2023 season with the 32nd annual Ice Bowl.
With 41 Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout series entries on the grounds for the two-day event, Hedgecock timed in third-fastest in his group before placing second in his heat.
Earning the sixth-starting position for Saturday’s $3,000-to-win A-Main, Cory raced to a sixth-place finish in the 40-lap affair.
